Cedar Bayou

Description

Cedar Bayou runs through eastern Harris County and serves as the border between Harris County and Chambers and Liberty Counties. It runs from Liberty County to Galveston Bay near present day Baytown. Texas settlers began navigating the Bayou as early as 1854. In recent history much of the Bayou has been channelized because of multiple flood events.
