The collection - Galveston Photographic Subject Files regarding War and Military Affairs is an artificial collection gathered by staff of the Galveston and Texas History Center over the years. It consists of individual photograph and prints, donated or found, and brought together under one subject heading. This collection consists of images of military personnel; veterans; military vessels, tanks, and other machinery; camps both in Galveston and on mainland Texas; auxiliary groups; parades; and other subjects related to the military and war.
