Moody Family Papers and Business Records
The Moody Family Papers and Business Records is a large collection of photographs, correspondence, business items and other documents, including items from the Civil War. These were primarily gathered by Mary Moody Northen, who died in 1986. The collection is separated into four main sections – 1. Papers of four generations of family members including photographs and scrapbooks, 2. Business documents of businesses owned by multiple family generations including ANICO. 3. Audio-visual materials of the entire family from photographs to audio materials to digitized moving images, and 4. Printed materials including books, newspaper clippings, and pamphlets that the family members found important enough to keep.
