One side of the sheet is a general map of the site, showing a town of 70 blocks and 214 outlots. The verso is a close-up of the 70 blocks, which occupy the southwest part of the site. Two railroad bridges (the Galveston, Houston, and Henderson, and the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe) and the Galveston County Wagon Bridge connect the island with the mainland at this point. A proposed pipeline appears in manuscript. The scale for both maps is incorrectly given as 1 in. to 833 ft.
